We are an association of Brain Injury survivors, their spouses, parents, friends, families, and professionals who are dedicated to the support and building awareness of Traumatic Brain Injury and how it impacts daily living. We support individuals and families in the central Texas area, and have been since 1984.
The purpose of the association is to further the cause of those who have experienced a brain injury in order to create a better future for them, their families, and supportive friends. In that connection, the goals of the association, but are not limited to the following:
- To promote the welfare, rights, and dignity of individuals experiencing disabilities caused by brain injury.
- To serve as an information and resource center for survivors of brain injury, their families, and friends. As well as professionals in the field of brain injury treatment and rehabilitation.
- To provide a network of support for survivors, their families and friends: and specifically to organize and conduct survivor and support meetings, on the first Tuesday of every month.
- To promote and foster, the empowerment of brain injury survivors through active participation in the association, and the community.
